Rewires

At Baker Electrical Services we can undertake all types of rewiring services, for example rewiring a home or business establishment. Once rewiring is completed, we suggest that the life span of the new rewiring will approximately last 40 years, if it's maintained properly and kept within any future electrical regulations.

We ensure that any rewiring taken out keeps to a minimum disturbance and inconvenience.

Fuse board

At Baker Electrical Services we can provide upgrades on existing fuse boards with Consumer Units container Minature Circuit Breakers (MCBs) and Residual Current Devices (RCDs). We also upgrade main and supplementary equipotential bonding to BS7671 standards.

Fuse board change from £300 *price is for supply and fit of dual RCD consumer unit and testing. Additional work may be required at extra cost in order to issue test certification.

Installation of VPhase Voltage Optimiser.
The VPhase VX1 is designed to reduce mains voltage to a fixed level of 220 VAC a reduction of around 10% for most homes. This in turn can offer a reduction in electricity bills for homes. It's housed in a unit smaller than the electricity consumer unit in the home and fixed to the wall next to it.

Heating controls

We are able to install heating controls for your boiler. This device allows you to set the temperature to a desired comfort level. The heating controls or thermostat turns the boiler on until the required temperature is reached when the boiler is switched off.

If you are in the process of upgrading or installing a central heating system, you will need to remember that heating controls/thermostat is mandatory under the Part L of the Building Regulations.

Smoke/fire alarms

At Baker Electrical Services, we install smoke/fire alarms systems to meet BS5839 Part 1, 2002 BS5839 Part 1 practice, which is associated with the fire alarm system design, installation and servicing regulations.

TV/audio/projector installation

Baker Electrical Services have the ability to install Plasma/LCD TVs that meet your requirements. We will give you guidance of the appropriate place for mounting the TV. We can setup and configure your audio device and fine tune them for optimum sound quality. Also we can assist you in the installation and configuration process of your Digital Light Process projector (DLP).
